Hello,
I just install SP2 for windows XP PRO , Can I block ads
with SP2 new firewall?
for exp: When I surf into a news web site I got all this
ads in the screen, some of them came from ads servers, in
Zone Alarm I had this option, I wonder if I still need ZA
or I can block this ads with the new firewall

Get a pop-up blocker.

Your IE should now have that ability, not the firewall.

IE has this property in the easy-to-find location as follows:

Internet Options control panel
> Privacy tab (you do understand why pop-ups are about privacy?)
> Block pop-ups checked

There are some unintelligible options under the Settings button you can
play with, and you can put sites there to avoid blocking popups.

Personally I would have put it under the "I'm mad as hell and I'm not
gonna take it anymore!" tab.
