Steps for applying the patch:

Steps for applying the patch:

1. Go to the task manager and stop MSBLAST.EXE from
running in processes.
2. You need to set their RPC timeout to 60 minutes so that
their machine doesn't get shut down while downloading the
attachment from email. Do the following:
Set RPC Boot time to 60 minutes

a ) Click Start/Run and type "services.msc" (without the
quotation marks) . This will open Services. (Disconnecting
the network cable until the services are turned off will
allow plenty of time to complete this process. If you can
get the services turned off fast enough cable
disconnection is not required. Reconnect the cable to
access the security patch)

b ) Scroll down and double click on Remote Procedure
Call. (The first one listed)

c ) Select the Recovery tab.

d ) Select Restart Computer options and change the
Restart computer after, from 1 minute to 60 minutes . Hit
OK, then Apply and OK.

3. Have them download the patch. If they get the same RPC
error while downloading it then have them ignore it. The
countdown to turn the computer off will start from 60
minutes now instead of the 1 minute default. Have them
download the file and then reboot the system. After
rebooting, run the executable.
