All of a sudden, I have a black icon down in the toolbar
in the lower righthand corner of my screen (I never can
remember what that toolbar is called). Any idea why and
if I should be worried?

System Tray. Is NAV current? I've never seen it, but I can imagine that is
some kind of flag to warn you to get it updated. Unless maybe some virus
whacked it.

My virus definitions were updated 6/25. There was a full
system scan on 6/23 (I have it set up to scan at a
certain time every week). My system status says OK and
there are no items shown needing my attention. And I
couldn't find anything by googling.
