I'm using XP with SP2 and I've enabled the Windows Firewall. However, if I
log off, shut-down, or just restart Windows, the Firewall has been disabled.
I re-enabled it and tried restarted several times and each time the Firewall
gets turned off upon reboot. Any ideas? Thanks, David

Verify that Windows Firewall (ICF) and Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) and
other services that requires to Windows Firewall to function correctly are
running in the background (started).
See
http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/service411.htm#Windows_Firewall_Internet_Connection_Sharing
to know what are those services that requires Windows Firewall to function
correctly.

Have you done a virus and spyware scan? If on a network, is there a
GPO controlling this?
