What Server Roles are OK to Share with a VPN?

Hello--

We are going to be implementing a VPN for one of our remote offices. We have
to be aware of costs, so we would like to share some of our network server
roles on the same box.

What server roles are safe to share on a VPN server? Security is our main
concern, just ahead of cost.

As you already know, its a compromise and balancing act. I personally
wouldn't put any other roles on a box like this (I assume you mean it will
be facing the internet directly?). If I had to compromise on that, I might
look and see if any other "web facing" roles could be placed on this box.
