Based on the extremely positive response we received to the first version of
Visio Connector for MBSA, we have just released Visio Connector for MBSA
2.0.

This utility allows you to view the vulnerability assessment information
generated by MBSA 2.0 on a Visio 2003 network diagram. You must have both
Visio 2003 and MBSA 2.0 (or MBSA 1.2.1) for this connector to function.

You can learn more or download this free utility at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/tools/mbsavisio.mspx.

I would love to download MBSA 2.0 so as to be able to use this
additional feature, but am getting no response from the download site
when attempting to go through the validation process. Can someone fix
this, please?

Martin, just wanted to confirm that you have a problem downloading MBSA 2.0
and not the Visio Connector. Is that correct?

Please check if your Internet Explorer security settings are set too high.
To validate the process, you need to install an ActiveX to perform the
validation. Also, take a quick look if the IE gold bar appears at the top
saying that blocked the installation.

Hope this helps.

Yes, correct. I realise this is not the ideal forum, or thread, in
which to raise the problem, but there appears to be no mechanism on the
website for raising the issue other than by telephone. I am hoping that
either you or some other MS employee reading these groups may be in a
position to pass on the message to someone who can do something about
it - apologies if this expectation appears unreasonable or unjustified.

Just to add that I have now succeeded in downloading both items. There
is an installation prerequisite for the Visio connector that I need to
investigate (MS .NET framework), but I shall take it offline from here.
Thanks.
