My problem is when I am using Windows Live and trying to do a virus scan, I
know there is a short scan and a longer scan. Can someone tell me how to get
to the page to decide that? Each time I think I'm at the right place it turns
out to be the long virus scan. Thank you very much.

Hi Perry,

If you choose Protection Scan
(http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/center/howsafe.htm) you'll get the full
scan without the quick scan option.

What you want to do is:

1. browse to http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm
2. click Full Service Scan

Then choose the Quick Scan option (or select Quick Scan from the customize
settings page).

Randy

Thanks Randy. Your instructions were right on the money.
