I've created some certificates so we can use SSL to access remote email.
How do I go about opening the certificate. I want to open it so I can view
it. I want to see the:

BEGIN CERTIFICATE

Stuff here

END CERTIFICATE

But when I open the certificate with notepad, its just a bunch of giberish.
What do I need to do?

You use the mmc snapin for certificates for computer on the computer where
the certificate/private key exists. Then go to the personal\certificates
folder and you view all the certificate details. You can also view IIS
certificates via the IIS Management Console and going to the website and
selecting properties/directory - view certificate if one has been installed
for the website. --- Steve

--- using MMC

This doesn't show me the Begin Certificate data though

When I open my Certificate athurity, and view issued certificates, it shows
request ID, requester name, and Binary Certificate, which shows ------Begin
Certificate------asdfjlkasdkfj.
I want to see the Begin certificate stuff, is there anyway I can get that
open in a notepad or something???

I am not saying it is not possible but I don't know a way. You may also want
to post in Microsoft.public.security.crypto. Also see if certutil can do
what you want on the CA. --- Steve

Use a certutil command:
