Does anybody know what this file does? C:\wj2jovma.sys?
I've searched google and MS to no avail. I checked properties for the file
but that was usless. I'm concerned this is a virus that has gone undetected.
Thanks,

Renaming is a good choice, but since a Google for "wj2jovma.sys" brings
up nothing, I'd do some scanning for viruses and malware. Update your
virus definitions (if they aren't already) and if you don't have
Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy, get them. Make sure you have the
latest versions - Ad-aware is up to 1.06 and Spybot is 1.4 - and then
update them.

Run the virus and non-viral malware scans in Safe Mode.

Post back if you need more help with any of that.

If you are not sure about a file like this VirusTotal is a great resource:
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html

If you submit the file directly to this site they will test it against 19 AV
scanning engines, there and then.
If the file comes back clean from this lot you can be pretty sure you are
okay.

Agreed. If the name doesn't show up in Google, it could very likely be
malicious. www.grisoft.com is free antivirus, and you can do a one-time
virus scan by going to http://housecall.antivirus.com
