Uninstalling McAfee Privacy

HELP!!! I previously had McAfee Privacy and McAfee Security on my computer.
Cancelled it. Now, I am trying to download Norton Virus, and it will not
download. I get communication error messages. I have gone into my Control
Panel, add/remove programs, and tried to delete McAfee Privacy first. I get
a message that says that the uninstallation failed! INF file missing. I have
contacted McAfee Support, and Dell Support. No one knows what to do. Any
suggestions? Thanks!!

Do you really want to install Norton? Read some of the posts in this forum.
You won't like Norton.
