Don't bother defending yourself--we all know the Internet has some folks who
don't believe that simple courtesy is necessary to human
interaction--perhaps they think they are talking to machines?

actually i think the numbers have been decreasing. of course once everyone
turns on their brand new christmas computers there will probably be another
big outbreak.

This may persist as blaster has--connect a fresh XP install to the Internet
without enabling the firewall and see how fast you are infected--seconds, I
believe.

There will probably always be a Swen-infected machine gathering addresses
from some newsserver somewhere!
