I am using windows XP home, and the warning I get is just
that, this page can not be displayed, I use to be able to
get this with no problems, but after instaling MSN8. The
problem started and I removed MSN8 and the problem
contenued.
I'm a bit of a computer dumby so I need things explained,
Thank you for any help you may be able to offer

Need to know more details - can be connectivity or name resolution problem.
To get more diagnostic info, we need more information about the problem. In
IE, go to Tools-Options-Advanced, and disable "Show friendly HTTP error
messages", then try again. What exactly is the error thereafter?

I'd recomment to delete your existing network connection and re-create it.
Most likely, that will fix.

No need to start a new thread - I replied to your earlier post in here. If
you're having problems viewing replies to your own posts, you might want to
consider using a newsreader like Outlook Express or Forte Agent rather than
the web interface to the newsgroups - it's a lot easier to do nearly
everything there, including searching, which is always a good idea to do
before you post, as well as mark messages to be watched, and filter based on
replies to your posts.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like.
