Go to the Lenovo tech support site for your specific model Thinkpad.
Look at the specs to be sure wireless was included. If it was, then
download the drivers and any related network management software (I
think it is called "Access IBM" but I don't remember exactly since I
don't run Windows on my Thinkpad). Install the drivers. There will also
be a manual on the tech support site which you can download. It will
tell you the keypress combination (FN + some key IIRC) to toggle the
wireless on and off.
