How do I know if someone else has tried to use my password?

How can I check to see when my account has been accessed?

We are not microsoft,...this is not Microsoft. This is a peer group, a
UseNet Group, this isn't Microsoft, or Hotmail, or MSN, or anybody else.

That may be difficult.
Can you change the password?
If possible, do so IMMEDIATELY.
Use a strong password that is impossible for someone else to guess.
Do NOT give the password to anyone for ANY reason.

Contact whoever controls the account for more details.
