Hi,

I have a problem with passport-related products on a Windows ME
computer. Accessing Messenger or logging in to passport causes an
avalanche of pop-ups and slows my computer to a crawl.

Even though I read an article in an Irish newspaper about this problem
several months ago, McAfee still does not detect/fix the problem nor do
any free packages like Adaware - and I cannot find any articles online
describing the problem or how to fix it.

According to the article I read, the problem is caused by clicking on a
link suggesting that Messenger needs to be updated.

Having used Spybot, Adaware, MacAfee, uninstalled and re-installed MSN
messenger... I have run out of ideas.

Does anyone know anything about this problem and how it might be
solved? I've had the problem for

Thanks,

Joe
