I ordered the Security Readiness Disk from Microsoft. It
has all the current service packs and patches. It is great
because when I am in the field it saves waiting for a
download. I do have a question though. The disk has a
screen with all the service pack and patches, on this
screen it shows two XP products, XP pro and XP Pro Gold.
Each of these listed products has it's own set of service
packs and patches. What is the difference? What is XP
Pro Gold?

Windows XP Pro Gold is Windows XP as it was released 2 years ago, no
patches, Service Pack etc.
