Someone is using your email address as the reply-to address for their spam.

And install a spam filter. I use Spambayes for Outlook
(http://spambayes.sourceforge.net) - it's very efficient

I don't know if anybody has said this but spam is illegal. Forward any spam
messages to this email address:
spam@uce.gov <mailto:spam@uce.gov>
then delete the message. They will investigate it. There is a penalty that
can reach over £1000 to companies that send spam emails and sell your email
address. People that investigate it go by a law sceme called "The can
spam-act"
You can also download free email filters, to filter out any emails that you
add to the list, also most email companies offline or online have them built
in!
Hope this helps!

Spam is only illegal in certain jurisdictions and forwarding a spam message
you received to the United States Government will only be effective in
certain circumstances. If the spammer is in North Korea then the U.S.
government isn't likely to have much success in dealing with them.
Furthermore if the recipient is in Peru I don't think the U.S. government
will pay much attention.

I don't mean to throw cold water on the idea, but let's be realistic about
what it will accomplish. Only a statistically insignificant percentage of
spammers will ever be caught or prosecuted. Filters are the best solution
for most average folks -- along with encouraging people to not buy things
from spammers.

Australia is one of the countries that legislate agains spam. There are
several bi- and multilateral international agreements regarding spam listed
on a government Web site:

http://www.dcita.gov.au/ie/spam_home/spam_international

Those are in their infancy and obviously don't have much global coverage.
Spam is one of the UN kind of problems - but UN (through its antiamerican
members) has chosen to pursue control over IANA, which is not a problem, and
not to solve anything real. Well, that is UN today - corrupt and
dysfunctional.

Therefore I don't expect any real spam controls though law enforcement in
near future.
