SECURITY

I CANT SETUP A SECURITY ACCESS CODE TO PREVENT THE USE OF
MY COMPUTER. LIKE WHEN YOU PRESS START IT WOULD APEAR AND
PREVENT ANYONE THE USE OF MY COMPUTER WITHOUT THE RIGHT
PASS WORD. IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME PLEASE DO SO. THANKS

Erm.. just what kinda advice do you call that?

Would you mind explaining how you would go about creating a
batch file which would securely password protect her computer?

Please use terminology that the original poster would understand.

If you are using Windows XP set up a password on the Admin
account. If you are the only person using the computer
this should keep others out. You should be able to do so
through the control panel by clicking on the "Users and
Passwords" icon." Just be sure the password you set up is
something that only you would know and something you will
remember.

By the way, using all caps when posting to a newsgroup is
considered yelling.
