It seems an internet porn site has installed its own
program on MY browser's SEARCH button. Russian search
engines, russian porn banners, and even pop-under porn ads
that refresh every minute or so have replaced my MSN
search. My kids regularly use this search option, so I
need to fix it now! How can I find the program, and
destroy it?

Possibly virus related but most likely spyware.
Run an updated virus scan.
Or Scan for Viruses online:
http://security.symantec.com/ssc/home.asp?j=1&langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=IRLFIZTYMWPAZTJWUFJ
Run Disk Cleanup checking all boxes except "Compress old files"
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Clean-up
Check this link:
http://www.aumha.org/a/noads.php
Run Ad-Aware (free version) or Spybot to check for spyware:
http://www.lavasoft.de/ (Update if you already have it)
Or
http://spybot.eon.net.au/ (Update if you already have it)

Hey usually most of these additional butons come with an
uninstall!

So if none was given the malice was intended in that case
you would have to be familiar with the windows system very
well as would have to remove links in your registry if
directly deleting the files associated with the button
doesn't remove it entirely.
