In Microsft's opinion, what is the best way to safey remove Patchou's
"Messenger Plus" add-on from appx. 1000 worksations in an enterprise setting?

Also: What does Microsoft suggest an enterpise can do as far as preventing
further downloads and installations of this non-Microsoft add-on to MS-IM?

Thank you !

Impossible to answer. What is the server running? What are the desktops
running? Are users local admins? Are you using Terminal Services? Remote
desktop? Any GPO's applied?

Correction:
The Microsoft news servers are owned and hosted by Microsoft.
Volunteers, like me and others help those with problems with MS products.

You will find Microsoft help here on these news servers.

You could probably restrict it's use by a Software Restriction Policy in
a GPO. MSN messenger isn't an enterprise app. Office Live Communicator offers
more enterprise-related features.
