Hi,
For complete answer you will have to provide more information about your OS
(what OS do you use). Also what mail client do you use (e.g. Outlook Express
or Outlook or...).
Your certificate is stored in your profile and is "protected" by your
password (the one you use to logon to your computer). If I can easily guess
your password I can gain access to your private keys... So have a strong -
hard to guess password.
If you send mail that is encrypted you will use the other persons public key
for this -- so this should not be a problem on the other side. If you
digitally sign a mail you will use your private key for this. Once the
recipient receives this e-mail and he doesn't have your CA public key,
he/she will be warned that it could not verify validity and other data about
your certificate. They should still be able to read your mail.
