Product Activation & re-installation

I currently have a system with Windows XP operating system and Office 2007
installed. I will be updating to Vista soon and will carry out a full
re-installation after a re-format of the HD.
Are there any issues with the activation of my copy of Office 2007? Do I
have to formally un-install it to allow the software to be re-activated?

Guidance please.

Well you'll lose the copy you have installed anyway if you do a format and
fresh install of your OS, is it a retail copy of Office or did it come
pre-installed with the machine when you bought it ?

You will be wiping your hard drive, formatting and installing Windows Vista
clean?

Why not just in-place upgrade? (Windows Vista's method of upgrading is much
better than previous windows upgrades - although those usually worked out
well also.)

Answer to direct question:
No - just install and activate.

I am aiming to do a clean install to tidy up the overall installation which
was originally XP home which I updated to XP Professional.

> if you update your software to windows vista from windows xp then office 2007 has to reinstalled . once you reinstall the software then it would prompt you to reactivate it . The system would think the reactivation as second time activation so please be careful while reactivating it and choose telephone option as your connection methood .
