If you mean the post by "Muttley" titled "Help Trojan.KillReg" then it
wasn't.

If you meant something else then what, exactly, are you talking about?

Yes it was the post by "Muttley" titled "Help Trojan.KillReg". Some how my
post had a strikethrough and vanished as soon as it was downloaded!

I've changed my handle to Diatonic_Muttley just in case someone else with
the same name cancelled it to avoid confusion.

The msnews NNTP servers do not support deleting/retracting
by the poster - although an intermediate might do so.

??? Pardon Frank, but I do not understand.
If reply is to my post I very much am lacking understanding.
If it is suggestion to OP as to why their post "appeared" (or
rather for them did not) to be deleted, then I would guess that
there was not that many queued up that this limit applied.
Rather, as they were using OE it seems likely to me that they
may have gotten caught by the behavior I sometimes see, where
my own posts do not show for me on the machine from which
the post was made (but I do not believe I have seen that since
pre IE6 Sp1 times)

It was meant as a reply to the poster. Get ### headers at a time is flaky
and does not always get the ### most recent.

Thanks Frank. Call it an Ah-ha moment, that I believe does
explain what I have seen (as mentioned mostly in pre-sp1 era)
