1046 is unassigned, and it really depends what system you are talking
about - Windows 2000/XP/etc? Linux, Unix, Cisco, NetGear?
If it's a Windows like I assume from your post, run Fport from
www.foundstone.com to get a listing of all listening TCP and UDP ports from
your box, mapped to the process that has them open.
If it's Windows, then it's most likely the Print Spooler service, which has
a server component to it.
