Does anyone know whether digitally signed and encrypted e-mail messages can
be sent between Outlook Express 6 and the Lotus Notes e-mail client ?

Thank you

They both claim to support S/MIME, the Internet standard for sending
signed and encrypted messages. So if they do not interoperate, that
is a bug in one or the other.

Little details like certificate management might make it tricky to set
up in practice.

You might be better off asking in comp.groupware.lotus-notes.misc.
