Hi groups,

I was doing vulnerability testing on our windows systems and found out
most of the systems have NULL sessions enabled on them. I want to get
rid of them but the problem is that we have over 150 systems and can't
go and disble these sessions manually. Since we have Windows 2003
infrastructure i want to know how to diable NULL sessions using group
policies ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tornado.

Look at the options under computer configuration/Windows settings/security
settings/security options for security options that control anonymous
access. For what it is worth in my opinion the whole null sessions thing is
way overblown unless you use no or very weak passwords in your network
though no harm is done restricting to a level that will not disrupt the
network. --- Steve
