Norton Shared folder??

I recently uninstalled norton antivirus 2001,and I still have a norton shared folder
Is it safe to delete
I'm using windows ME

If you have no other Symantec products that might use that folder, yes. But
if you have even one other Symantec product, Norton Utilities, Ghost,
whatever, better leave it. Leaving it doesn't hurt anything, even when
Norton is completely gone; other than taking up disk space.
