Yes, it is possible to use Windows VPN client to connect to Checkpoint
VPN-1. here's L2TP configuration from the Phoneboy's Checkpoint FAQ:

Doing certificate authentication is also possible but configuration bit of a
problem. I couldn't find any information on how to use VPN-1 with EAP-TLS
and IAS.
