How do you cause your email address to be mask on this board? I thought I
selected that option when I signed up but apparently not. How can I appear
anonymous. TIA

it depends on what you are using for posting messages.

I see you're using Outlook Express as your newsreader - go into your news
account properties and munge your e-mail address. You're wise to want to do
this. For more info see http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm

(you can see this if you open the message & look at the properties)

The best way to use a 'munged' address, when following the advice of Ms.
Lanwrench, is to use a '.invalid' at the end of the email address. You may
either add it to the end of an otherwise valid address, or replace the TLD
in the address (I.e., .com becomes .invalid), or you may even created
something "cute" (I.e., 'cant.spam@me.invalid').

Do not, ever, "make up" a domain. If you do, you may either inadvertently
use a domain which is registered, and which you have no authority to use, or
you will just spoil some domain for somebody who comes along later to
register it, only to find it getting spammed from the get-go.

Very good advice.
