Hi.
My company is planning to install a DC in its branch office for some
reasons. There isnâ??t special secure server room in that office. I am afraid
of some usersâ?? password recovery tools.

Are there any recommendation about locate DC in the no secure server rooms?

Thanks!

Without physical security of SOME type, there might as well be no security.

Can you get them to buy/build some sort of inexpensive lock-box/cabinet to
put the server in - so the users have to at least have a key to get to the
server's keyboard/mouse/monitor/drives?

Thanks for you reply.

Lock-box is good idea. But I am having expressing concern over its.

The second idea is to install virtual server R2. Virtual disks of DCs will
are store on the PGP encrypt disk for example.

What about the last idea?

Lock-box/cabinet are good idea.

I don't see how that would help anything.

Just use the locking cabinet. Just provide good air circulation so the
machie dones't overheat.
