When I read your message, I thought the same thing N.
Miller did, that you may have a keylogger on your computer.

Also, it's a bad idea to post your email address on a
public forum like this; that's how you get more spam. Then
again, you say someone has control of your email accounts
anyway, so nevermind...

The problem of a keylogger, I'm assuming, correct?

Well, off the top of my head, you could do a couple of
simple things to try to "bring out" the keylogger from its
stealth mode: XPC Spy, for example, comes out of stealth
mode by pressing Ctrl, Alt, and X at the same time (or go
to Start>Run, and type "rx" (no quotes) in the field.

For Spector Pro 4, you would hit Ctrl, Alt, Shift, S at
the same time.

Or, shut down all your programs (because this would bring
them up too, maybe), and then hit Ctrl, Alt, or Ctrl,
Shift, Alt, or similar combos/keys to bring the keylogger
out of "hiding."

I got this from a PC World (or PC Magazine) article but I
don't remember which issue (it was recent, though).

Could be one of those things where the keystrokes are
recorded and then sent TO the hacker in question, but if
this is the case, you have other problems here besides
worrying about email accounts.

You can also visit
http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,94603,00.asp
(although this article is bit dated) for some tips. Do a
Google search, also. There are articles/tips out there to
help you find out if you do indeed have a keylogger, or if
someone is being sent the keystrokes from your PC.

Did you run a virus scan and a spyware scan? And do you
also have a firewall?

I personally do not like norton at all. While it's "a world leader in PC Security", It's also nothing but a show item the succeeds from the name it's built from computer illiterates. I KNOW Norton is easily dissabled by most trojans upon infection. That key combonation idea to bring a keylogger out of hiding is good. But what's to say it's a retail keylogger? Or even that you dont just keep changing your password to something easy, or answers to your recovery questions arn't in your profile? And you said he's controling it now and you're worried he'll change your password? Do this, get hijack this (download.com) - run it - you most likely wont understand what you see so post the results in a hijack this forum - someone will tell you which are melicous and possibly the item in question is your logger/trojan. Get removal instructions and follow carefully. Then without waiting until the "hacker" has realized his "in" is gone now, change your password to something strong. Hopefully this helps get your email back. And may I suggest, try using a free alternative for just a short while to Norton and see if you like it better? AVG and Avast! are great in my opinion.
Also try the free trial of Trojan Remover from SimpleSoft also at download.com. Before ANY antiviruses could detect the latest prorat (prorat 7 was undetectable for at least 4 months. I had to send a sample to Avert.), Trojan Remover completely removed it for me.
