On an IIS server? Which Windows and which IIS? Anytime you allow a
visitor to run code from a file on the server there may be a buffer
overrun possibility.

Merely by enabling FP extensions you do not incur a security risk. You can
even enable FP extensions without being connected to the internet.

Only when you use the IIS as a server to publish web content to the
Internet, with or without FP extensions, will you need to take security
precautions. I use Zone Alarm plus the Win Xp firewall and never had a
problem.

With IIS running, make sure that your computer is still in stealth mode.
Start your IIS and then check your ports on:

I am not an expert, though. Visit the FP newsgroup.
