Did you try searching for files over a certain size, like 10000 KB or
10000000 B?
Could be a hacker put an illicit FTP server on your computer. If this is
the case, see here:
http://securityadmin.info/faq.asp#ftpfolder
http://securityadmin.info/faq.asp#hacked
[the instructions above should usually help you find evidence of hacking if
any, especially the step where you run Vision or Fport from
www.foundstone.com/knowledge ]
http://securityadmin.info/faq.asp#harden
If this is the case, you should make sure you have a firewall [www.kerio.com
and www.sygate.com are two free firewalls], get all your patches from
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com, make sure the IIS FTP server is not
installed under Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs,
Add/Remove Windows components], and if you need to run an FTP server, make
sure the anonymous IUSR account never ever has both read and write
permission to any one folder.
