How do I disable MSGR 4.7 from my system at work?

I try to in the 'control panel' - delete 'windows programs'; however, it
seems to not work. I try to delete the actual file program icon; but it won't
let me delete the file there either?

I have a feeling that it is connected to another program - possibly outlook?
I'm not sure.

My concern is this: I will be leaving from the office soon, and want to
ensure that nobody will have access to msgr/my inbox. when I open messenger,
someone can click '___@hotmail.com' - 'click here to sign in' and anyone can
have access to my email.

First click on the tools menu in Internet Explorer
Tools > Internet Options
Delete Files, Delete Cookies

Is the password still saved in your computer?

Deleting all the cookies should solve your problem,
alternatively, you can change your hotmail password (Not
using your office's workstation).
