Ahhh you know, Sjonia... that is not exactly correct. For
example, in Outlook 98.. right here on my work computer..
i can empty the dleted items, yes. Then I can click
Tools, Recover Deleted Items, and recover the deleted item
AFTER I've emptied the folder. In that dialog, there's a
purge items option... after you purge them, then they are
REALLY gone.
I know for a fact they are still there, because my Symatec
Corp. AV still finds them in the Information Store..
after the deleted items are emptied. Purging them clears
it up.
