No. These two things are unrelated.
I have never touched McAfee (with a stick or otherwise,) so as such
cannot help you in that respect. However one presumes that McAfee have a
feature to recover lost passwords. Obviously the password can also be
bypassed in someway, (or else you would not have found the IE problem,)
so you can have a look through their website.
