You did not mention your operating system but XP SP2 has a built in pop up
blocker that works very well. The firewall will block Windows Messenger
service type pop ups that usually appear in a gray box. For browser pop ups
try the Google Toolbar. It is free and works very well though I suggest you
install without the advanced features when prompted.. --- Steve
