Dear Sir,

I notice from reading the description on # 823559 ("
Blaster Worm: Critical Security Patch") that the Blaster
or LovSan patch available from Microsoft is needed if you
have the softward for either Window NT 4.0., Windows 2000,
Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Is it needed if you
have Windows 98, 2nd Edition as I have?

And by the way, thank you for specifying in your subject line that your
are asking about Windows 98 vulnerability. In trying to learn about this
latest threat, I downloaded a long series of messages with subjects like
"Blaster question" or "MS03-026 Patch" only to find that many of them asked
the same question about Win98 or ME. (I'm running Windows NT4.)
