Some webpages keep loading up on IE. They ask me to
install programs that are obviously malicious. This is
off a clean install of XP. I was wondering if these
webpages are as a result of spyware or such.

If I get IE just to block the pages, it just crashes.

Anybody got any solutions?

Clean install of XP doesn't do that - obviously you have visited some Web
sites that have installed spyware on your PC.

There are many resources on how to get rid of spyware. Here's one:

You have spyware on your computer. Look at many previous posts along the same lines to find URLs where you can download spyware removers.
