Hi,

I created an ActiveX control. The control is on the server. It can be
installed on the client machines when I connect to the site using HTTP but it
doesnt download and install on the client machine when i use HTTPS (SSL) to
connect to the site.

Why is that? ANy ideas are welcome.

Thanks

Hi Lanwench,

I see a red cross mark on the left side of the control. Also, I read in this
article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;316431 , that
documents cannot open with SSL since a secure connection sends a no-cache
request to the server. I am using Coldfusion. How can I override the
'no-cache' option to allow caching? That too, IF this is the issue.

Thanks for any help.
