What is your operating system and service pack and are you part of an Active
Directory domain and what error messages do you get? I don't know what you
have tried but try adding the Windows Update site to your trusted Web
Content Zone and initially set security to that zone for low. Then be sure
to logon as a local administrator [use the command net user username to see
if your account is a member of the local administrators group], verify that
Windows Updates is shown to be in the trusted zone when you are there and
