In XP pro you click on the folder you want to share and you should get a
tab marked security. Then you can set the permissions to the ones you
want. I'd avoid 'full control' for security permissions though (go for
the combination of read/write/change/whatever you require for which users.
Never used XP home but I did a google search which turned up a fairly
comprehensive article on XP home networking here (including the fact
that you can't do security permissions on XP home):
