ms04-028

hello

im trying to install a microsoft patch ms04-028, it fails
each time i try to install from the web, so i decided to
download the patch and install it manually.
But i get the following error:

Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low
memory (low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted
Cabinet file.

i have used the downloaded patch on other machines via
mapped drive and it worked fine, the current paging file
size for the erred machine is 2048 MB, which should be
enough.

any help would be appreciated

Can you try and download this patch again (from Microsoft website).

All patches are digitally signed. If only one bit of the patch is missing
the digital signature is invalid and patch will fail to install. You can
check the validity of digital signature by right clicking the patch ->
properties -> Digital Signature tab.
