I (along with David Bartosik) will be attending the Microsoft Office System
2003 Launch in New York this week, Monday through Wednesday, and will return
to the newsgroups on Thursday, October 23, 2003.

What the hell is 'MIA'. I thought it would be AOL as you did not request
permission from me fourteen days before the event in triplicate e-mail.

My mate Bill phoned me up and asked me to come, but I just don't have the
time - unfortunately.

Brian,

Whatever you do, don't try to pick a flower in Rockefeller Center. I
did, after midnight Mass on Easter, and was chased by four cops, plus
had to face one mean cat in front of me waving his nightstick up and
down, just waiting to beat me. Outran the two guys chasing me on foot,
ditched the guys in the car at a traffic light and simply juked the
baton waver out of his shoes. By then, all the petals on the flower had
fallen off, so I discarded the incriminating stem and walked into a bar
full of cops! Actually sat down and had a beer with a few of them.

If the launch had been two days later I could have gone to the UK one...
But I'm going to be here instead...

If you ever go to the UK make sure you take enough food with you for the
period of time you will be there.

Yeah, of course. I am not into this war stuff. I am more of a practical
pacifist.

I would like to get rid of all war machines and soldiers, sailors, marines
etc. etc.

If they do want to have a war, then everybody should be given the same tools
like bows and arrows and shields and they can all go for it and may the best
team win.
