But I've just discovered why D.A. loves PagePlus - in many respects it *IS*
superior. Now, if only I had a printer to print my experiments on... Any
recommendations for a £1000 ($1800) colour laser?

It's not heresy, Sarah: Dave isn't the only one who admires the Serif
product. I've used it since version 4, and I keep both PagePlus and
Publisher on my machine. I think my usage is about 50-50, with
Publisher predominating on material being sent out to print, and
PagePlus (or sometimes a combination of the two) used for inhouse
projects. YMMV!

Blessed be, for sure...

PagePlus burst onto the scene as an affordable PageMaker look-a-like..
compared to MS Publisher of the day, it was a blessing.. no wizards in your
face and much more space given to 'workspace'.. gradually, the company added
all kinds of associated programs to the inventory, and the Serif clipart CDs
are way superior to some of the commercially available collections out
there..

I have PagePlus SE installed, and even in basic form, it gives high-end DTP
a run for it's money.. I am about to hit the MS Wish list and suggest that
they might do the same for Publisher..

Sarah,

That's what I used to do your project! It really is a good program and
can do lots of things. Which version are you using?
