My old publisher program used to have a word art shape in a circle with a
straight line of text in the center. My new publisher doesn't but I still
want to make that shape. Anyone know how? Thanks. Leesha

Which version of Publisher are you using? I have 2003 and I can do it.

I have 2003 also but that particular shape is not longer in the word art
templates.

Insert WordArt. Add your text. You should now see the WordArt toolbar. Pick
the icon that looks like an A that's been stretched a little (next to the
dog in the square icon). Select the shape that you want.

Go here:
http://msauer.mvps.org/wordart_in_microsoft_publisher.htm
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a short tutorial on how to do
circular WordArt.

Using the WordArt with the center line is a trial and error operation. You would be
better off making the center text separately.

Thanks. Yes, that's how I've been doing it but that shape isn't there. Is
there a way to extend the list down. What I'm asking is if the list is longer
than what originally pops up and you can extend it for more shapes? I have a
curve that goes down and another with much less curve and more stretch that
curves up but will not make a circle and the curves do not match. I'm trying
to make something that looks somewhat like a cancelled stamp shape with a
word wrapped around ina circle and also another line inthe center that is
straight. Help! Thanks. Leesha
