    - URGENT!! Should know how to do this, but I don't - or I can't remember I am stressed. I am trying to print a service sheet for my grandmother's funeral. My printer has a manual duplex function, but it isn't available for the type of media I'm using (photo matte). I need to print the front and the back (pages 1 and 4) in one run, then turn the card over and print the insides, (obviously pages 2 and 3). Time is running out and I'm stressing! I thought the duplex add-in might do it, but I don't think it will. I just want to print the outside in one run, and the inside in another. I have to have this done by tomorrow morning! There *MUST* be a way to accomplish this, but I can't figure it out (other than setting it up as two separate publications). I need 200 copies and I'm not going to stand over the ruddy thing and turn the card over for each one, having it hit the resume button each time! If anyone doesn't know what version I'm running by now, shame on you, but I'll tell you anyway - it's 2003. I think I found at least six grey hairs this morning!     - Pub 2003 - save as a web page does not upload hyperlinked files After having just upgraded to 2003 from 2000, I attempted to upload a website I created (index_files and index), but it is also not uploading the hyperlinked files as it did in 2000.     - Page Layout Question Hi - I am trying to create an invitation that is a half of a page. I want the half page folded in half to show a picture on the front and then when you open it, the details on the page on the right. I can't figure out how to set this up...everything that I try makes it so I have to fold the page in fours instead of just in half. Any suggestions on how to set it up this way? Thanks!     - pictures look jaggad after upgrading to win XP I have hundreds of publisher files that were created on a macintosh and ran great on publisher 2.0 on my old windows 3.1 machine. When I transfer these files to my new Windows XP machine running Publisher 2000 all the embedded pictures look jagged and print in very poor quality and the font Helvetica-Narrow is replaced with something else. I don't have the origional pictures or font. The graphics manager tells me some of the pictures are EPS and the rest it just shows two dashes for the type (--). The printer I use is a LaserJet 4 Plus. Do I need some sort of PostScript drivers? Is there a way to un-embed the pictures to their origional quality?     - converting publisher file to Word I have designed a letterhead that I would like to convert to Word format. The file will convert the text but not the graphics. Is there a work around? I have saved it in pdf form but others can not use that unless they write a letter by hand. I'd like for people to be able to use the letterhead as a Word document.     - publisher 2000 will not run from computer, only from CD I have reinstalled Office 2000 a couple of times. I have also had to reinstall Publisher 2000. I cannot install Publisher 2000 so that it will run from the computer, only from the CD. I have tried uninstalling Office CD 2 and reinstalling it. I have tried repair from the Install menu.     - Finding or Deleting Links Hello, I'm using Pub 2003. I created a file that had Visio drawings inserted into it as links. After several revisions, I've deleted those drawings from the file. Still, when I go to Edit|Links they are listed. So, as a testing measure I: CNTL+A, DEL. I did the same on the master page. The result is a black page but the links are still listed! I created an invoice for my use, however when I go to type in the information in the body of the invoice, the top of the text is "cut off".     - page numbering how can i begin page number 1 after the title page and table of contents page? The page I want to start with number 1 is selected as a new section, but no page number shows even though I selected the numbering to show on page 1 of the new section. I also get page numbering the previous section (Table of Contents page) which I do not want. What am I doing wrong? Again, I have two pages (Title and Table of Contents) that I want no page numbers on; want to begin page number 1 actually on the third page of the booklet. It will save as a 96 dpi by default. but my printing company said it comes out too grainy due to the low Res. I would like to insert an image into a frame of fixed size and position, and then adjust the image's position and size manually. The fixed frame would, in effect, crop the image. Workstations are Windows 2000 SP4 Netgear Print Servers (PS101) Samsung Laser Printers (ML-6040) When we print from any PC to the Samsung laser, it's all okay, yet from Publisher all we get is the printers' 'manual' and 'data' lights flashing and nothing more happens. We have checked that the print job actually gets to the printer, it is no longer in the print queue or the queue of the print server.     - Getting lost in big posters Hello. When printing out a large poster made up of many pages it is very easy to get all the pages mixed up. Some may fall out of the printer on the floor etc. it then becomes tricky to assemble them, if not impossible. Is there a way to print the page number on each sub page? Publisher 2003 with Digital Imaging consists of two products - Microsoft
Publisher, and Microsoft Digital Image 9 Pro.
The touchup tools are found in the Digital Image Pro product, which has its
own separate newsgroup.
