    - jpg truncation problem I have Publisher 2003 and I created a flower.jpg to put on a brochure. The flower.jpg has Word Art text above and below. It looks fine when I Print Preview the page. However the flower petal edges when printed are cut-off. I tried to resize(make smaller) the flower thinking that the Word Art text was causing the truncation of the flower jpg. I would save my changes. However, when I print the page, it is as though I did not make changes. The jpg was not smaller. Note: I have to click Ctrl + M to edit it. It is on the master paqe. Don't know anything about Master pages but stubbled into setting this and don't know if there is any relationship to the above. Any suggestions please?     - Is it correct that an 81/2 x 14 tent card fold newsletter prints . I want to make a newsletter on legal size paper. I want it to fold like a "tent card" and give me a page one (and page four) size that is 81/2' wide and 7" long. Then the inside, pages two and three I want to actually do as one 8 1/2 x 14 page. When I start to set this up, the newsletter from a template prints pages 1 and 2 together, head to head at the center and pages 3 and 4 on the other sheet also head to head. Is that right?     - Jar labels Can anyone help with an equivilent label to the Avery 5163 required in publisher to print jar labels. It seems that the label 5163 does not exist.     - Re Enlarging Fonts for Poster I somehow missed the original query about this subject, so forgive me if I've missed the critical point of which version of Publisher is in question. I am still using V 2002 so it is to this that I offer the following observation. As has been stated several times, enlarging size of font beyond 72 pt is possible by changing the details in 'Font Size & Name' button on the Tool Bar.     - Page orientation when printing unusual sizes When printing from Pub2000 to tabloid several years ago it would show vert for horiz and vice versa and would not print correctly. After much frustration QMS gave me a patch but said it was a Microsoft problem. Today I was trying to print a B5J size card and the same thing happened. I tried it on an HP inkjet and it happened again. I dropped the layout into a cheapo Sierra program and it prints correctly but with a loss of some graphic detail. I am making a gift certificate from a template off of the MS site, and I am unable to size it the way I want. When a confrence addtendee signs on to our web site they need to be able to click on a file (acrobat reader) Hopfuly, and download it and print it so they can fill out the form and mail it off.     - Disk Full...but it isn't I have a very large 55 page publisher file. It is about 550mb. It is full of pictures. I wanted to be able to save it as as JPEG but I can't so I wanted to transfer it to Powerpoint. I did this on a majority of the pages. I wanted to delete some of the publisher pages to free disk space and after i delete the pages and resave (much smaller 30 pages smaller now) but it says can't save disk is full.     - tri-fold question I have Publisher 2003. I set up newsletter starting with a blank document and then set up three text boxes for my three columns of text for the page. I could edit and adjust the three text boxes independently. I have done something which fused them together. Now when I lengthen or shorten one box, the other two are lenghened or shortened as well.     - Opening *.pub file on CD I've saved a large Publisher file with linked images to CD, but when I try to open it from the CD, it either hangs up the system, or Publisher is hanging up, and I need to shut the system off to reboot and recover. If I recall correctly, it is either Publisher 2000 or 2001. If I copy that file from the CD to the HD, it loads fine. Am I doing something wrong, and if so, what? One of our people has been using a specific clip art on Publisher 2003 (Win XP) fine, but now when she tries to insert it from the clip art she gets the message that says she needs a graphics converter. He had a template containing four empty picture frames. When having a picture in clip-board, marking an empty frame and choosing insert special, the inserted image resized to fit the frame.     - Windows Installer every time open Pub2000 A few weeks ago, I had to reinstall Office 2000 Professional Edition because of problems using the online Office Updater. Now, everything works except that when I open Publisher 2000, the Windows Installer insists on running - presumably updating something - then it closes and Pub2000 finishes opening and works fine. The symptom is very similar to what MS documents in KB265194 - except that Windows Installer only runs when opening Publisher. I have tried everything that KB265194 suggests - in addition to removing mspub.exe and letting it reinstall. Unfortunately, there is no history of changes after the publication has been
closed.
