    - newsletter formatting I have designed a newsletter in Publisher that I e-mail as a message. The format is saves as HTML. The original recipient can view the newsletter fine, however, when the newsletter is forwarded the formatting gets rearranged.     - background I have Publisher 2000. I would like to have a picture behind a form (words) on one page. I had read previous advice. I tried creating a rectangle behind it and then sending it to background. That did not work. I tried another piece of advice "send to back". That did not work. I am using the Publication templates to create newsletters, (Banded Newsletter) and I'm changing various text block colours and adding and changing a few pictures. The problem is this: Sometimes when I close and reopen the files the text has changed back to white from black (usually the same text block on the second page), and some of my pictures have to be selected again and Sent to Front as they are half hidden. Basically, I want to take a simple B&W clipart (a Yin-Yang, for example) and put it over a solid color background so that the background color shows through the white areas of the image. The first line has a font color of red The second line has a font color of black At the end of the first line is a paragraph return. Here's an example Jane Doe (this is red font) Newest Member (this is black font) OK, I want to copy Sally Sue onto the line witih Jane Doe, so I highlight the name Jane Doe and choose paste. The problem is, when Sally Sue is included it becomes BLACK (the font color of the second row) and doesn't stay RED (the font color of the previous item). How can I tell the system NOT to change the color to what's on the NEXT row!! That seems so obvious that I wanted it to be the color of what I was pasting into. Am I missing something? What version Publisher? This article shows you graphically how to link text boxes, it
is a 2003 Office article but the principle is the same in most all versions of
Publisher.
