    - Publisher converted to Word Pad I saved my Publisher files to disk because of a system restore need. When I reinstalled them they show up as Word Pad files.     - mass mailing postcards Hello, I'v created a post card template that has one side with general information and the other side with different peoples addresses on it. The paper stock that I am using will let me print 4 cards per page. However, I don't need the same person's address 4 times on a page, I would like to print out 4 different peoples addresses on the same sheet. When I do print preview, I have 4 copies of the same address, that doesn't work, unless I want to send the same person 4 postcards, but that wouldn't make sense. Can anyone help me out.     - Split Photos When Printing Originally I was using Publisher 2002 with no problems. Now I am using 2003 and am unable to print photos.     - Office won't let me insert pics from file Up until today, I've enjoyed the ease of inserting pics from files into any office product. For some reason, today it's choosing to not be my firend. When I go to Insert>Picture>From File it just freezes. I've sent countless error reports to microsoft in hopes that I could figure this one out on my own, but I've hit a brick wall.     - Converted publisher to jpg file prints with line When I convert a publisher file to jpg file and print that jpg file, a black line runs along the left side of the page.     - Calendar Start Days again There are many postings on the internet of people wanting to start Calendars on days other than Sunday. The advice, for Publisher 2003, is invariably to change your PCs regional settings. e.g. changing the language setting from "English (US)" to "English (UK)" is supposed to change the start day of Publisher Calendars from Sunday to Monday. Even Microsoft's own articles say to do this e.g. see "Change dates on a calendar" under "Assistance, Publisher 2003, Work Essentials with Publisher" at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HP011543011033.aspx. This is exactly what I want to do. However, it doesn't work. Whatever language setting I use, a newly created Calendar ALWAYS starts on a Sunday. Even after a reboot.     - sort problems Using Publisher 2000 and mail merge - large input excel files - sort sequence is crucial but does not hold. Doing a 20K pice mailing and addresses print out in basically no sequence at all - I've broken database down to 2000 names at a time - it will print 10 in sequence, skip 20, print 10 in sequence, skip 10 then eventually goes back and randomly picks up skipped addresses.     - Changing Autocorrect Language I recently began using Office 2003, and am having trouble getting the Autocorrect language to work consistently in Publisher for text that is English (Canada). Note that in all other Office programs, the Autocorrect language used for Canadian English is English (U.K.). However, when I open a document in Publisher, the Autocorrect Options come up in English (U.S.). Butâ?¦if I select any text that is formatted as English (U.K.), Publisher then begins autocorrecting Canadian English using English (U.K.). This only applies to the Autocorrect Options, not the spell check, as there is a separate Canadian English dictionary for spelling, and the text is correctly defined as Canadian English Iâ??ve tried changing regional settings on Windows â?? which seemed to control Autocorrect in earlier versions of Publisher â?? and Iâ??ve tried altering Office language settings in the Office Tools, but Publisher keeps switching the Autocorrect dictionary it uses for Canadian English.     - Custom Cards-and Mail (Catalog?) Merge I am trying to set up a template for a custom name card-3.125" x 2.125" . Each of these cards will have different names on it (Mr. Bill Smith, Ms. Mary Jones, etc..) and all the cards will have the same detail on them-(ie: Company Name and Venue) . I was able to set up the card template but I am having trouble merging the 650 names that are now in Excel format. It seems that I end up with a sheet of 6 cards all with the same name, so that I would have to print 650 sheets--each sheet having the same name on it. Where am I going wrong? After about 300 copies, missing lines start to appear in my printed document in a few places.
